This morning a friend claimed there was "really no difference" between the positions of Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. "They voted the same on almost all issues during their time in the Senate," he said.
It's true that their voting records are quite similar. And compared with the Republican candidates their positions are very close. But take a closer and they depart from one another on a number of important points, and the sources of their funding are quite distinct.
