Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...but don't put them in my backyard: over half of U.S. governors are now saying they will refuse Syrian refugees after Paris. Not only would their refusal be unconstitutional, it's illogical: so far, all the identified Paris attackers are EU nationals. In the 14 years since 9/11, domestic right-wing extremists have killed more innocents in the U.S. than jihadists.
