Stan Larkin got a heart! He lived 555 days with the SynCardia total artificial heart until a successful heart transplant at the University of Michigan Health system earlier this month. We celebrated with a gathering that included Gift of Life of Michigan, his brother Dominique who was bridged to transplant with a SynCardia artificial heart, and their cardiac surgeon Dr. Jonathan Haft.
