People talk about the emotional scars we bear after a disaster or loss, but that implies we've actually healed. For many of the families who lost loved ones last December, the wounds are still raw and may never go away.

For those of us at Sandy Hook Promise, we're committed to turning our tragedy into transformation, and making sure that this time, there will be change. And we're doing that by building a community of people united in our love for all children.
