STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Who I am in three hundred words
Who I am in three hundred words
This exercise made me think of at least three scenarios. I am aware that I will be writing my biography and I am confused on what to respond at least on three situations. First, could it be right if I write fictitious names, dates, places and events to distance myself from identity theft attacks which is rampant more so during times? Second, I have correct records of personal information on file, what if in this biography, I happened to write information different from what is actually posted in my school records, will that act could affect negatively your impression on my character, could it made me appear to be less credible as I am before?
Third, what if I place a disclaimer on the beginning of the article saying information therein are fictitious, will that be acceptable in as far as this exercise is concerned?
Third, what if I place a disclaimer on the beginning of the article saying information therein are fictitious, will that be acceptable in as far as this exercise is concerned?
Nevertheless, as artists as they are, have a saying that the show must go on, hence, I exercised prudence in as much as applicable in the process. Having instructed to write my biography in 300 words in an article to promote myself in a Magazine Publication on 1 page 8.5" x 11" created in InDesign, I figure it out making this 1 page article in 3 columns , 100 words and 2 images each column using 1 font family.
This article will be published on FALSE Magazine, a kind of a social satire magazine, a publication of true to life happenings, events where everyone knows it is true but no one dare testify it is true for fear of not losing life, liberty and happiness, but at the very least being cross-examined by lawyers seasoned to produce devils out of angels, and at the very most, losing the case through a judge who owns a weighing scale meant for silver and not for justice.
Thank you very much.
