Happy Fourth of July! Today, we are celebrating how far our country has come, while looking forward to the work ahead to make our union even more perfect. We commemorate this day with fireworks, parades, and picnics with family and friends in communities across the country. We honor the brave men and women of our armed services who defend our nation abroad, and we rededicate ourselves to take care of them when they return.
