Jorge Ramos, the news anchor employed by both Univision and Fusion, didn’t get a great response after asking Donald Trump a question at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. Instead, one of Time's most influential journalist was escorted out.
Jorge Ramos was kicked out of a Donald Trump press conference for asking questions about immigration.

Incredibly, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough seized the opportunity to criticize Jorge Ramos’ actions, stating that “If [Ramos] had actually asked a question up front we wouldn’t be talking about it… Ramos wants to make it about him.”
MSNBC should focus on the real issues, like Donald Trump’s hateful and racist rhetoric, and stop attacking a fellow journalist.
Another MSNBC pundit, Chris Matthews, believes that “people who use phrases like “undocumented workers” are not really seriously concerned with illegal immigration.” A video of those remarks is now being promoted by one of the main anti-immigrant groups.

They just don’t get it, and we’ve had enough. Let’s tell MSNBC we stand with Jorge Ramos.
It’s time to change the way this network covers immigration issues and the racist actions of Donald Trump.
FRIEND,
Earlier this week, Jorge Ramos was kicked out of a Donald Trump press conference for asking questions about immigration.
The exchange resulted in Jorge Ramos's expulsion from the room and an avalanche of commentary from the media.
Incredibly, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough seized the opportunity to criticize Jorge Ramos’s actions, stating that “If [Ramos] had actually asked a question up front we wouldn’t be talking about it… Ramos wants to make it about him.”
Jorge Ramos doesn’t want to make it about him, he wants to bring real attention to the concerns of 11 million aspiring Americans and the rest of us who care about them.
As Donald Trump continues to attack immigrants day in and day out, some members of the news media are more than willing to coddle and encourage him. That is not right.
Another MSNBC host, Chris Matthews, recently stated that “people who use phrases like ‘undocumented workers’ are not really seriously concerned with illegal immigration.”
Language matters, and using terms like “illegal immigrants” only serves to demonize and divide us, just like Donald Trump. It does not bring us further toward a rational solution, and Matthews should know better.
Let’s tell MSNBC we stand with Jorge Ramos. It’s time to change the way this network covers immigration and the racist actions of Donald Trump.
Thanks for your support,
Juan Escalante
